  • Mulched 96 trees
  • Pruned 195 trees
  • Used 8,000 gallons of water to hand-water trees
  • Sprayed 125 trees with insecticide
  • Planted 134 trees
  • Removed 7 trees
  • Maintained over 600 trees on city property
  • Applied 2,500 pounds of fertilizer and 450 gallons of liquid fertilizer to turf and trees
  • Applied 300 gallons of pre-emergent to prevent weeds from growing
  • Applied 467 gallons of RoundUp
  • Applied 342 gallons of weed killer
  • Used 110 gallons of insecticide on turf, trees and plants
  • Adjusted and maintained 797 irrigation heads on 10 different irrigation systems
  • Edged 20,654 feet of curb and 20,092 feet of sidewalk (more than 7 miles)
  • Mowed 149 miles of roadside ditches and tributaries
  • Finished mowing an estimated 307 acres of grass to date (city parks, City Hall, city pool and Central Park)
  • Rough mowed 272 acres with tractor/brush hog

Crews replace an outdated water main.

Elk Creek Addition Phase 1: streets and sidewalks are almost complete.

Elk Creek Addition Phase 1: The contractor has sown grass seed and is placing erosion mat to reduce stormwater runoff to the ponds.
