The Bel Aire Recreation Center offers numerous activities for all ages. Located on 48th St, the Bel Aire Rec Center has many fields for soccer, flag football, baseball and softball in addition to an indoor gym facility, exercise equipment and community rooms. Resident memberships and day passes to the Center are available, with 2009 fees below.

The Rec Center is open for operations on the following days and times:

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday - 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Wednesday & Friday - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Saturday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

The Rec Center is closed on Sundays and most holidays; hours are subject to change.

Resident memberships and day passes to the Center are available, with 2009 fees below.

New Programs

Is there something that the Bel Aire Recreation doesn't do that you would like to see? Do you have what it takes to lead a new program? Most Bel Aire Recreation programs are led by local residents. The Recreation Center is always looking for new program ideas. Anyone interested in starting a new program is encouraged to contact us at (316) 744-2700 or email us at recinfo@belaireks.gov

Facility

Gymnasium and Activity Rooms are available for rent to scout troops, basketball & volleyball teams, meetings, birthday parties, etc. Ballfields are also available for rent to Bel Aire resident groups. Rentals are subject to availability. Please call (316) 744-2700 for details.

The Rec Center also offers a Book Swap program. A community bookshelf is located in the Recreation Center lobby. Book donations of appropriate content may be dropped off at the front desk. Residents are then encouraged to take another book of interest.

2009 Activity Schedules are available at the Recreation Center reception desk. Please refer to the youth and adult recreation pages of this website for upcoming programs.
