Arbor Day Celebration The City of Bel Aire celebrated Arbor Day on April 25 at City Hall. A tree was planted and dedicated to former Mayor Gary O'Neal. Current Mayor Harold Smith proclaimed April 24 as the 137th anniversary of Arbor Day in the city of Bel Aire. Mayor Smith encourages Bel Aire residents to support efforts to protect our trees and woodlands, and to plant trees to gladden the heart and promote the well-being of this and future generations.Download the proclamation here (.doc).
