Wii at the Senior Center
The Bel Aire Senior Center is a participant in the Wii Get Healthy Program administered by Senior Services Inc. of Wichita. Seniors across the country are playing games on the Nintendo Wii, which provides a form of gentle, low-impact aerobic exercise.
Come play Wii at the Bel Aire Senior Center on Wednesdays between 1 and 5 P.M. Wii Sports Leagues are held on Thursdays from 2 to 5 P.M.
Games
Wii Sports - Play simulated games of tennis, bowling, boxing and baseball against a computerized opponent or another person. Players can also practice their skills and determine their "Wii Fitness Age."
Wii Fit - Perform aerobic, strength, yoga and balance exercises. Determine your BMI (body-mass index) and set fitness goals.
Wii Play - Arcade and tabletop-style games, including billiards, air hockey, tank battles, table tennis, and a cow-riding race.
Big Brain Academy - Test yourself and your family with brain-teasers and other challenges. The Professor will calculate your brain weight and award you with a grade.
